Sending a War Cry

Hello there,  I’m a native from Montana, a Crow warrior from the Crow tribe.  In January I received a harsh sentence from a bitter judge.  She gave me two life terms plus 400 years to run consecutively.  I’m only 25 and have been in and out of prisons since I was 17.  I am a believer in Jesus.  It’s a day-to-day struggle, but without Him I am nothing!  I still struggle with the fact that the white man tries to look down on my people, but I’m learning to forgive just like Jesus forgave me.  I know a lot of Indian brothers and sisters read your newsletter.  I’m sending a war cry to all my brothers and sisters in the struggle.  I pray they stay strong and believe, no matter how bad or hopeless their situation may look.  Remember, there is always someone who has it worse.
