No More Heroin

I’ve been in and out of prison most of my life due to a serious heroin addiction.  In 10 short months I’m about to be tossed out of a level 6 maximum-security prison to society without a dime or a place to live.  Do I stand a chance?  I’m currently in the hold due to a fight in the gym over a basketball game.  This week when the chaplain came by, I asked for a Bible, and he went out of his way to go back and get one.  In a level 6 there are security doors every 20 feet and it’s really a pain getting around, but he managed and was delighted to help me.  I have 10 years behind bars and for the first time I talked to the chaplain.  I’m going to accept Jesus into my heart and ask Him for help with my heroin addiction and that I’m taught a new way of life.  I ran the streets chasing that evil substance.  I must put my faith in God and see what lies ahead.  I believe God is with me and will show me the way.
